Occasionally, when we start a new life, we tend to forget where we came from and how we got here.
Daily distraction, can often look productive, but also may hinder us from realizing or remembering the big picture.
Glowing up and growing up typically involves a lot of reflection on yourself and your life.
Lately….I look at my life and realize that I am fully capable of doing things I never dreamt of and succeeding because I didn’t base them on anyone else’s idea of what my life should look like.
Doing this has greatly increased my empathy for the people around me as well as myself. Taking a good look in the mirror at the pride I let get in the way and refusal to accept help from anyone.
Truly I do believe there are good people in the world, if we just keep faith and focus on our “why”.
Mine is a better life, love, and freedom…
What’s yours?
My why had been to take a step back and think about others “why” instead of assuming I already know their truth! It takes humility to stop for me at least ( little miss know it all ) to admit I DO NOT EVEN KNOW A FRACTION! It’s actually kind of liberating. So my why is to find out my loved ones why and maybe even people I don’t agree with‘s ”why” ☺️ Namaste
